# Sign In and Role-Based Access in Youthnic AI Studio

> Learn how to sign in to Youthnic AI Studio, what your role controls, and what to do when access is denied or something looks wrong after login.

Youthnic AI Studio uses a secure, invite-only sign-in model. Every team member signs in with an email address and password that an Admin creates for them through the Administration console — there is no self-registration. Once you sign in, your role determines exactly which pages and actions you can access.

## Sign in

Open the Youthnic AI Studio URL provided by your organization. Enter your **email address** and **password**, then click **Sign in to Studio**.

After a successful sign-in, you will land on the first page your role permits — typically the Dashboard or Studio. Your session stays active until you explicitly sign out or it expires; closing the browser tab does not end your session.

<Warning>
  Never share your credentials with a colleague. Each team member must have their own account created by an Admin. Shared credentials bypass the audit trail, make it impossible to track who approved or rejected a catalog item, and may result in your account being disabled if a security review detects concurrent logins from different locations.
</Warning>

## Roles and what you can access

What you see after sign-in depends on the role your Admin assigned to your account. Roles are configured in the Administration console under **Roles**. The table below shows the standard roles and the pages each one covers.

| Role                 | Pages and capabilities                                                                                                                                                                                |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Admin** | All pages: Dashboard, Studio, Catalog Planning, Catalog Production, Events Intelligence, History, and the Administration console. Full user, team, role, automation, AI routing, and cost management. |
| **Planning Manager** | Dashboard (reports), Catalog Planning, Catalog Production, Events Intelligence, and History. Can create batches, assign owners, approve or reject SKUs, and manage handoffs. |
| **Creative Team** | Studio (single-product generation), Catalog Planning (upload references and monitor generation), and History (download completed images). |
| **Review Team** | Catalog Production — specifically the quality-review stage. Can pass or reject poses and SKUs, add comments, and request regeneration. Does not have access to Studio or Planning creation. |
| **Listing Team** | Catalog Production listing stages — Sent to Listing Team, Listing in Progress, and mark as Listed. Receives handoff packages containing the five approved pose versions for each SKU. |
| **Viewer** | Read-only Dashboard. Can view generation summaries and analytics but cannot create, generate, approve, or manage anything. |

The exact permissions within each role are configurable by your Admin. If your role has been customized, you may have access to more or fewer pages than the defaults above.

## Troubleshooting access issues

<Accordion title="I can't log in — I see an error after entering my credentials">
  Check that you are using the exact email address and password your Admin provided. Passwords are case-sensitive.

  If you have entered them correctly and still see an error, your account may be disabled. Contact your organization Admin and ask them to check your account status in the Administration console under **Users & access**. An Admin can re-enable a disabled account or reset your password from that screen.

  There is no self-service password reset in Youthnic AI Studio. Only an Admin can update your credentials.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="I don't see Studio in the sidebar">
  If Studio does not appear in your navigation, your assigned role does not include access to that area.

  Contact your organization Admin and ask them to either assign you a role that includes Studio access — such as the Creative Team role — or add the permission directly to your current role under **Administration → Roles**.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="I see a blank screen or just the notifications page after signing in">
  After sign-in, the platform redirects you to the first page your permissions allow. If you land on a blank screen or only see the notifications page, your account has not been assigned any role yet — or your role has no permissions enabled.

  Contact your organization Admin. They need to open **Administration → Users & access**, find your account, click the edit icon, and assign you at least one role with the permissions appropriate for your team function.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="I see 'Redirecting…' in a loop">
  A redirect loop usually means your session has become stale or invalid. Sign out completely if you can reach the interface, then sign back in. If the loop persists, clear your browser's local storage for the Studio domain, then sign in again. If the issue continues, contact your Admin to have your account refreshed.
</Accordion>

## Understanding the permission model

Permissions in Youthnic AI Studio follow a straightforward two-layer structure that your Admin controls through the Administration console.

The first layer is your **account** — your identity, password, and session status. When an Admin disables your account, you are signed out immediately and cannot sign back in until the account is re-enabled.

The second layer is your **role and permissions** — your organization membership, role assignments, and the specific pages and actions you can access. The table below shows the access areas and what each one unlocks.

| Access area | What it unlocks |
| --------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Dashboard** | 14-day analytics: generation volume, cost, and delivery summaries |
| **Studio & History** | Single-product generation, pose plans, image downloads, and generation history |
| **Planning, Production & Events** | Catalog Planning batches, Catalog Production board, and Events Intelligence |
| **Administration** | User management, role configuration, AI routing, and cost settings |

The Admin role is permanently granted access to everything and cannot be restricted through the roles editor.
