Catalog Planning is the batch mode of Youthnic AI Studio. Where Studio handles a single product at a time, Catalog Planning lets you manage an entire collection of colourways — different colors of the same style — under one shared creative direction. You define the model, scene, lighting, and five-pose grammar once, attach front and back references per colourway, and the system generates every SKU sequentially with a locked consistency anchor so every image in the set looks like it came from the same photoshoot. A catalog holds three things together: the shared creative direction (style references, model identity, scene direction, and five-pose plan), the colourway lines (one row per SKU/color with its own product references), and a scheduled generation time. When the run starts, Gemini analyzes each colourway, and GPT Image 2 generates five poses per SKU — hero front, professional side/3-quarter, authoritative back, creative Gen-Z editorial, and close-up face+detail — using the same model and scene locked by the first successful pose.
Catalog Planning requires the planning.view permission. Creating or scheduling a catalog additionally requires planning.manage. Contact your workspace Admin if you do not see the Planning tab.

The four-step workflow

Every catalog moves through four ordered steps before images are produced: Step 1 — Creative direction: Upload up to three shared style or scene references and optionally one model face reference. These apply to every colourway in the catalog and never replace the individual product references you upload per SKU. Step 2 — Product truth: Paste your colourways (one SKU, Colour Label per line) and upload front and back references for each one. Fabric/pattern detail, bottom wear, and additional product photos are optional but improve accuracy. Step 3 — Gemini analysis: As soon as front and back references land for a colourway, Gemini preflight runs automatically. It validates product identity, reads the shared style references, and builds a five-pose plan for that SKU. You do not need to trigger this manually. Step 4 — Generate: Set a generation date and time and click Schedule automatic generation, or click Generate ready colourways now to start immediately. The catalog worker processes one colourway at a time, and the first colourway’s Pose 1 locks the model and scene for the entire batch.

Two tabs in Planning

The Planning page has two tabs:
  • Catalog Production — the V2 operational workflow with 13 stages from intake to listing, assignment, QC, and handoff. This is the default view.
  • Planning V1 — the classic catalog interface where you create catalogs, manage colourways, upload references, and schedule generation runs directly.
