Catalog Production is the operational command center for your fashion catalog pipeline. Once Catalog Planning generates your five-pose images, every SKU enters this module and moves through a structured sequence of stages — from quality review to listing team handoff to final marketplace listing. Each item in the queue is a work item, one per SKU colourway, and every action your team takes is recorded in a complete activity trail. Open Catalog Production by navigating to the Planning page and selecting the Catalog Production tab. The module is available to Planning Managers, Creative Team members, Review Team members, and Listing Team members. Each role sees only the actions they are authorized to perform — a Listing Team member will not see QC approval buttons, and a reviewer will not see listing-completion controls.
If you cannot see actions you expect — such as QC approve/reject buttons or listing controls — your workspace role may not include the required permission. Contact your Admin to verify your role assignment and catalog permissions.

Key concepts

Work items are the core unit of Catalog Production. Each work item represents one SKU colourway and carries the SKU name, request code, priority, deadline, marketplace targets, campaign season, assigned owners, and the complete workflow history for that item. Workflow stages are the 13 canonical states a SKU moves through, from Requirement created all the way to Listed. The current stage, time spent in that stage, and the next required action are always visible on every work item. Activity trail records every comment, assignment change, QC decision, rejection note, re-generation request, and listing event. The full trail is accessible from the SKU detail panel via the workflow view. Listing handoff is the stable, frozen package of all five approved pose images. It is created automatically when QC passes a SKU and is used for both automated daily email delivery and manual download.

Views

Catalog Production offers three ways to see your work queue: Switch between views using the Overview, Kanban, and List buttons in the toolbar. Admins and Planning Managers with catalog handoff management permissions also see a Handoffs tab for delivery history and handoff settings.

Filtering and sorting

Use the search and filter bar to narrow down the work queue:
  • Search — matches against SKU name, request code, campaign, theme, remarks, and marketplace
  • Stage — filter to one of the 13 canonical workflow stages
  • Assignee — filter to a specific member or show only unassigned items
  • Sort — choose Active first (default), Deadline first, Newest first, or SKU A–Z
  • More filters (expanded panel) — batch, priority, campaign, marketplace, and date range
The active filter count is shown in the More filters button so you always know how many filters are applied. Click Clear filters inside the expanded panel to reset everything.

Adding SKUs to Catalog Production

Planning Managers can bring SKUs into Catalog Production in three ways:
  • Select SKUs — pick from existing Planning SKUs not yet tracked in Catalog Production
  • Add SKU — manually enter a SKU name and request ID to create a standalone work item
  • Upload Excel — import the Youthnic_Catalog_Template.xlsx spreadsheet for bulk intake; a dry-run preview shows new rows, duplicates, invalid deadlines, and unknown assignee emails before any records are created
Download the current template with the Excel template button in the toolbar.
